Installation frequently asked questions

  • COVID-19 Pandemic

Covid-19 is a public emergency, however, the Government has temporarily relaxed the rules to make it easier for businesses to continue working.

Therefore every business has a legal responsibility to protect from risk to health and safety wherever practicable to minimise the risk of Covid-19.

The following is a guide to how Spectrum is working towards protection of Staff and Customers:

:  Staff and customers must stand/work at least 1 meter apart when possible.

:  Staff and customers must wear a mask when facing/communicating with another person.

:  Staff and customers are advised to provide handwashing facilities with running water, soap and paper towels (wherever applicable)

:  Use hand sanitiser at locations at all times.

:  Use antibacterial wipes when getting in and out of vehicles, handling stock, and after completing outside installations, and before and after setting up CCTV recorders.

:  Frequently clean and disinfect objects and surfaces that are touched regularly.

:  If equipment like tools or vehicles are shared then clean them after each use.

It is the responsibility of every individual to make sure all surfaces remain clean and sanitised. This means increasing the level and frequency of cleaning as well as cleaning surfaces that you may not ordinarily clean.

It is the responsibility of every individual, employee or customer to alert Spetrum if they or a member of their household is displaying symptoms of Covid-19.  At this point the installation booked will be cancelled and the customer can re-book a future date.
